Seersucker (also called Clo clò) is a fine cotton fabric, usually striped or checked, originating from India.
The curled appearance is obtained by assembling threads with different tensions in the warp, groups of taut threads alternating with groups of very loose threads.
The irregularity that distinguishes it means that the fabric does not adhere to the skin, facilitating perspiration and the passage of air.
Furthermore, Seersucker does not require ironing.
